About Joel
Born in the fifties in Los Angeles, California, Joel Rogers grew up to have a series of experiences that enabled him to help artists project their music, their dance, their spoken word to audiences everywhere. During his career in music and TV, Joel also developed a passion for sharing his knowledge with young people about the positive, creative contributions of African Americans. He is now expanding his understanding of business by becoming an entrepreneur. He is in the process of working with his family to expand the family locksmith business, and he is the founder of an upcoming festival that will have its debut in Los Angeles, Tribute to Black America.
